Mapping the business processes
Mapping the flow of business activities, processes and steps within processes, as well as the relation to each other and common factors, is a fundamental part of Skills Development and Performance Management.
We use the resulting mapped matrix and flowcharts as input(s) and a guideline framework for the Job Profiling process. The mapping process is expanded into more detail for the Learning Material development process.
Process mapping is conducted to obtain an overview (or a map) of the processes and operations in a business and how they are connected to each other. This map is used as the “backbone” which is used to link and group all the subsequent processes and operations of the business in a logical way and ultimately “allocate” them to one (or more) pillars of the Balanced Scorecard:
